Dear Leslie,
On Sunday, April 17, my wife and I came to Rutgers Nursery for the first time. We came to you searching for plantings for our yard in Highland Park, and left completely satisfied with our experience.
Chris Arvanitides lead us around the property, answering our questions, listening to our thoughts, and sharing expert information, and suggestions with us about our needs. These days the art of customer service seems lost in every corner of retail. Happily, we found the type of service we thought we could only hope for at Rutgers Nursery.
Every part of our experience made our trip there worthwhile. The property is immaculate and a pleasure to visit. Your staff is friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We had some idea what we wanted to purchase, but Chris' expertise lead us to several Cherry Laurels, a few Skip Cherries, and a weeping cherry with more to come.
Too often people forget to mention an excellent experience and only retell stories of terrible ones. We were so impressed with all of you, I doubt we will do any nursery/landscaping business anywhere else. We are excited to continue our Rutgers Nursery experience when your staff comes to our property to plant the remainder of our order, and to continue our landscaping with your advice and assistance.
I wish you a very successful season.
All my best...
Tim

Dear Jim
We just wanted to recognize the exceptional work that Jose W. Orantes, Jose Santizo, Hector Batres completed at our home last week. The patio, walkway and steps they created over the past couple weeks exceeded expectations. Their careful craftsmanship has made the area around our pool look outstanding. The landings up to the slide that were created are also impressive. They were able to make the landings transition beautifully from step to step.
The first hard rain after the installation the water flowed off the patio just as you said it would. The crew needs to be commended for their work creating something so beautiful yet considering the functional needs as well.
In addition to the hardscape the crew also did a superb job filling in the topsoil around the entire edge of the patio after the install. The slope from the pool to the yard looks natural.
As we near completion of the pool we have had many neighbors stop by and see. They all immediately comment on the exquisite patio. We are pleased to share with them our two years of positive experiences with Rutgers.
Please also note that in additional to the high quality job that Jose, Jose and Hector completed they were always courteous and professional while on the job. Each night they took time to clean their work area to make it safe and look attractive. We appreciated this extra touch.
As you know we are looking forward to the upcoming landscape work we have contracted with Rutgers. We never even requested a bid from another company due to the work your crew was producing. We look forward to having Rutgers back and hope that if Jose, Jose and Hector are as great with landscaping as they are with hardscaping that you assign them back to us.
Thanks again to Jose W. Orantes, Jose Santizo, Hector Batres for the amazing backyard they have created for us. Thanks also to Rudin for continually communicating with us as well as checking in with the crew on their progress. Our family will certainly enjoy this outdoor creation for many years to come. You are fortunate to have such diligent workers make your designs a reality.
Sincerely
Karen and Robert Gabruk 31 Copper Penny Road Flemington, NJ 08822

My husband and I attended the workshop today on Japanese Maples and other ornamental trees and we wanted you to know how much we enjoyed it.
Joanne did a marvelous job. Her enthusiasm and obvious love of plants and trees was totally infectious. We are planning to have Dave come out to do some badly needed trouble shooting for our deer infested, wet and shady landscaping.
We were also impressed with how highly Joanne speaks of the company and the boss. It says a lot as to why you have been in business so long and reminds me why we drive all the way down there from Bridgewater.
Thank you so much for having these workshops available. Judy
