River Birch

These (3) River Birch, while very young, were just growing too fast. So much so, that they started to weep and look messy. First they were pruned for “form” by cutting them back sometimes two to four feet in length! Then all winter dieback/dead branches remaining in the interior of the plant were pruned away/removed. The result: these will now be thicker, fuller and more beautiful trees as they fill in. Pruning makes a big difference!
